The National Ambulance Company (NAC) has built 21 stations in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
The locations of the new stations were selected based on the need to reduce response time. With phase one complete, phase two is due to get under way to build 10 more stations.
According to state news agency Wam, the project covers all Northern Emirates through eight main locations and 21 sub-locations divided among them. All of the stations will operate 24 hours a day. |
