Karachi: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Iqbal Mahmood on April 20 Sunday issued directives for establishing a well-equipped Trauma Centre and a Blood Bank at Police Hospital as early as possible. The directives were issued by the IGP during his surprise visit to Police Hospital here.
He also instructed to move a summary for the posting of specialists/consultants immediately in the hospital. Medical Superintendent Police Hospital,Dr Muhammad Yunis Chachar briefed the IGP about the functioning and problems being faced by the hospital management.
He said that there were 41 doctors and 121 para-medics providing treatment and preventive services. |
