Lahore: A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between Rescue 1122, Pakistan, and Asian Fire Service Association (AFSA), United Kingdom, for building upon the existing spirit and cooperation between the 2 organizations.
According to spokesperson of Rescue 1122 on April 13 Sunday, the MOU was signed by DG Punjab Emergency Services, Dr Rizwan Naseer and Executive Member of AFSA Mehrban Sadiq. According to the MOU, AFSA keeping in view its mission would like to collaborate with Rescue 1122 looking at its commitment to work for the establishment of safer communities and the challenge it faces in ensuring optimal standard of emergency service delivery.
The AFSA shall also provide expertise to review and develop / update the curriculum outlines and syllabus of trainings imparted and training the trainers of the Emergency Services Academy. |
