Tubod, Lanao del Norte: Around 72 emergency responders of the newly created Sapad Emergency Response Unit (ERU) experienced a 5-day training on Basic Life Support provided by the Department of Health Region 10 (DOH-10) in coordination with provincial local government.
The 5-day training held on March 3 to 7 at the Sapad Municipal Hall, focused on Basic Life Support (BLS), standard first aid, and realistic simulation exercises. According to Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) Head Marlyn Trozo, the interior town of Sapad is prone to flooding and landslides.
