Doha: Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) on March 05 announced ‘I am a paramedic’ programme, providing first aid training for students of 19 schools in Al Shamal in the northern region of Qatar.
The programme, sponsored by Ras Laffan Community Outreach Programme with QR1m, will start from the beginning of school year 2014-15, targeting students aged 10 to 17 year.
“It will serve students in the northern region and follows on from a project launched by QRC in 2008-2009 that targeted 20 Independent schools in Qatar,” Rashid bin Saad Al Mohannadi, Director, QRC Al Khor Branch, told a press conference. |
