Kohima: Nagaland got the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) on March 03, which will be the nerve of the state's Disaster Management Authority.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, on March 03 inaugurated the SEOC at the Old Assembly Secretariat complex. The SEOC'S role is to provide a central location from which the government at any level can provide inter-agency coordination and prompt executive decision making for effective incident response. |
