Peshawar: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) health department has been told to prepare for any emergency on Election Day.
A press statement issued by the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, on May 1 Wednesday, requested the provincial secretary for health to consider the interior ministry’s proposal a priority so that any untoward incident on May 11 can be handled.
The ministry requested the health secretary to declare emergency in all district headquarters hospitals and teaching hospitals on May 11 and cancel the holidays of health officials. |
