Stewart Rahr, well known businessman and philanthropist, has long been a major supporter of the Israeli volunteer emergency ambulance service United Hatzalah, going back to when he was first introduced to the organization’s founder, Eli Beer.
Just a few weeks ago Rahr had been in Jerusalem, where he pledged to match any donations made in a drive to add to United Hatzalah’s fleet of ambucycles, best described as a cross between a motor scooter and an ambulance.
That particular effort will see the United Hatzalah’s fleet of ambucycles increase by 50, and thanks to Donald Trump‘s recent contribution that number will increase once again. |
