Bhopal: Upgradation of 3 medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh has been approved by Union government under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). A package of Rs 150 crore has been approved under the third phase of PMSSY.
"Government medical colleges are being upgraded with an objective of correcting regional imbalances in the availability of affordable and reliable tertiary healthcare services in the state," said a DME official. Each project would have an approved cost of Rs 150 crore with Union government contributing Rs 120 crore and state committing its share of Rs 30 crore for each institution. |
