Technology to Render Voluntary Help in Roadside Emergencies

Thiruvananthapuram: Data analytics and GPS will together deliver assistance in roadside emergencies, if a Technopark-based company has its way.

There may not anymore be a need to call a pre-assigned number to requisition an ambulance service. Instead, a centralised command centre will voluntarily rush down nearest ambulance/crane to scene of an accident and guide it through traffic to deliver emergency services.

Madhya Pradesh will be the first beneficiary of the ‘integrated accident response system and traffic management centre’ from ARS T&TT India (ARS Traffic and Transport Technology). The State will have its entire road network covered by the system, according to Manesh V S, Senior Manager-Solutions, and ARS T&TT India.
