Make Use 31 Thousand Military Personnel Disaster Aid


Jakarta:   As many as 31 thousand soldiers of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) is ready and plunge assist in overcoming the floods that occurred in some areas, even formed a military post flood mitigation and deployed in Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, Sumatra and Manado.

According chief Gen. Moeldoko, in the Jakarta area as much as 5,559 soldiers deployed to form the flood shelters and help flood victims, among others, in Cempaka Putih, Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Kapok Muara, Pluit, networking, Kebun Orange, Cengkareng, Kapok Raya, Bukit Duri, Cipulir, Pangadegan and some places in the disaster area.

 While the equipment used is 128 rubber boats, 57 tents, 30 ambulance units, 34 field kitchens, 89 trucks, 42 rubber skoci units, 30 units of outboard motors, 565 floats, 15 units river boat, 1 Plane EC 120 B Colibri and 1 SA 330 aircraft, as well as several other supporting equipment.
