Surigao Del Sur: Thirty volunteers from Bayabas town of Surigao del Sur undergone a water search and rescue training or WASAR, being administered by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) and the local government unit of Bayabas led by Mayor Ma. Clarita Limbaro.
According to Community Development Information Officer (CDIO) Jude Limbaro, the said activity was also facilitated by the Search and Emergency Response Team of Surigao del Sur (SERTSS) where around 30 volunteers from the barangays of the said town successfully passed the training.
