Kathmandu: On January 26 Sunday India gifted 20 ambulances and 4 buses to schools, hospitals and non-profit charitable organizations in Nepal as part of its 65th Republic Day celebrations.
The same number of vehicles was donated during the previous Independence Day celebrations in August and also the previous Republic Day celebrations.
This donation drive has been continuing for some years now. A video released by the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on January 27 Monday in YouTube, to highlight India-Nepal partnership, mentions that till date 402 ambulances and 78 buses have been gifted to Nepal. |
