City Gov't Establishes Sub-Station for Quick Emergency Response

Cauayan City: The city government of Cauayan has constructed a sub-station of its Rescue unit to better respond to emergencies in the city. The sub-station is erected at Pasalubong center at the Maharlika highway near the city’s central business district.

Ronald Viloria, Rescue 922 head, said the Rescue 922 sub-station was seen by the city government as a measure to better respond to the call of emergencies be it by natural or man-made calamities. He said the Rescue unit sub-station will house several personnel from the Bureau of Fire protection (BFP), police and Rescue 922 personnel which are trained to conduct rescue operations.

Viloria said the main station of Rescue 922 is located near the city hall and can concentrate in the eastern part of the city while the newly-established sub-station will service the western and southern part of the city.
