Islamabad: The community-based maternal and new-born health services have the highest scalability potential for rural and remote areas of the country; integration of a voucher scheme with community-based emergency transport service can help improve the utilisation of the maternal and new-born health (MNH) services by addressing the issue of affordability, and in urban and peri-urban areas, public sector emergency services like Rescue 1122 is the most suited to be scaled up to cover the entire country. |
