Bhubaneswar: The Indian Red Cross Society, with the support of its international partners (IFRC and ICRC), aims to develop a cadre of First Aid & Certified First Medical Responder at district level through a series of training programmes, enhancing the capacity of communities to respond to emergency situations.
Odisha State Branch had organized the First Aid & Certified First Medical Responder training programme for SDRT/DDRT Members/ Youth Red Cross/ Junior Red Cross Counsellors / Red Cross Life Members / Volunteers from 1st to 3rd December, 2013 with the objective to enhance the capacity of Red Cross volunteers and communities to deliver emergency health services during disaster and health emergencies by developing a cadre of certified first medical responders. |
