Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Launches Ambulance Services Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada Districts


Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated the 108 free emergency ambulance services to public in Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada districts, besides distributing laptops and cheques for buying bicycles among Plus Two and high school students. He also laid foundation stones of some projects in these districts. After flagging off the ambulance service, the CM said, “My Government has been endeavouring for the past 13 years to bring about socio-economic development of the State and uplift of the poor and downtrodden.” In March 2013, Odisha Emergency Medical Ambulance Services had been launched in the State. In phase I, 15 districts had been covered under it. Till date, as many as 1,09,900 patients have been benefited from it. Patnaik also inaugurated a new Circuit House at Jajanga in Kendrapada.
