Allahabad: Health minister Ahmad Hasan on November 6 Wednesday said that an emergency ambulance service (102) for women and children would be rolled out next month. Stating that the state government has already sanctioned Rs 100 crore for the service, the minister claimed that on an average, one lakh patients were availing the emergency ambulance service (108) every month.
He also said that efforts were underway to provide free X-ray facility to patients at government hospitals from January 1, 2014. ...more |
