The government will likely sell a Japanese-style medical service to Cambodia in a package that includes an emergency care center, a medical graduate school and an insurance system.
The government has decided to seek a market for the medical service in emerging nations in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. It aims to spread the service and standardize it in the region in line with ASEAN’s move toward regional economic integration in 2015.
The government plans to first target Cambodia and establish a medical base there through cooperation between the public and private sectors. |
