Quezon City: The Department of Health – National Capital Region (DOH-NCR) recently started a week-long Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Training for the Sanitary Inspectors and WASH managers/practitioners of Metro Manila to strengthen and unify the existing emergency response system in the region in times of emergencies and disasters.
“This training aims to develop a standard among local government units in the establishment and maintenance of a synchronized coordination system in responding to emergency situations and ensuring a speedy, timely and effective response,” Regional Director Eduardo C. Janairo said. |
