Hyderabad: The GVK-EMRI, which operates the ‘108’ emergency services, has signed an MoU with American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for conducting certification training programmes in Basic Life Support in Obstetrics (BLSO) and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) for the first time in India.
Dr GV RamanaRao, head, Emergency Medicine Learning Centre, said at the GVK-EMRI office at Kompally here on Tuesday that GVK-EMRI was licensed by AAFP to conduct ALSO certification programmes for doctors and other healthcare providers in India.
