Kathmandu: A 10-day training on corpse management in disaster situations began in the Capital on September 17.
SSP Sudip Acharya inaugurated the training on ‘Emergency First Aid Treatment and Management of Dead Bodies after Disasters’ at the office of Dilli Bazaar-based Central Police Disaster Response Taskforce. “This session will impart professional knowledge and skills in providing emergency first aid treatment and managing bodies in the aftermath of natural disasters,” Acharya said of the training that has Nepal Red Cross Society, International Committee of Red Cross and Disaster Management Division as the organisers. |
