Muzaffarabad: The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has set up State of the Art emergency center in Muzaffarabad to effectively respond and handle any emergency in new civil Secretariat area of the city in general and entire Muzaffarabaddistrict in particular. The center with emergency 1122 service available round the clock has been set up in the basement of the central office of SDMA.
While unfolding the recent steps taken by the organization, Secretary SDMA, Fahim Ahmed Khan told that the emergency center, first of its kind, would be fully functional and formally inaugurated on October 8. He said that the emergency center with capacity to respond any emergency at any time has been established in view the vulnerability of the area, which is projected by the experts as most disaster prone. |
