Punjab to Install CT Scan, MRI Machines in HFH

Rawalpindi: Secretary Health Punjab Hassan Iqbal Malik on September 5 Thursday said that Punjab government would install CT scan and MRI machines in the Holy Family Hospital (HFH) to benefit thousands of patients from Rawalpindi and other districts and cities of the province.
"The government would also end the shortage of life saving drugs in the emergency departments of the Allied Hospitals (AHs) and recruit more medical officers through Punjab Public Service Commission in hospitals," he added.

Hassan expressed these views while responding to media queries during his visit to HFH here on September 5 Thursday. The secretary health said that it was his emergency visit to the city's largest hospital where thousands of patients are getting free of cost medical facilities round-the-clock. He said that Punjab government was making all-out efforts to make all the hospitals well-equipped. He said that HFH OPD would be made computerised so that patients could get best health facilities.
