Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Wednesday announced Rs 1 billion special initiative package for free emergency services at all the public sector hospitals in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and pledged to make the health sector in the province a model for the rest of the country.
He was speaking at a function at the Lady Reading Hospital (LRH). The event started two hours late due to his delayed arrival. KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, Health Minister Shaukat Yousafzai and LRH Chief Executive Prof Dr Arshad Javaid also spoke on the occasion. Imran Khan pledged to bring revolutionary changes in the health, education and local government systems of the province. |
