Red Cross Trains Students on Basic Life Support

Tuguegarao City: The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has conducted a series of trainings to different tertiary schools here to equip students with basic life support and first aid.  Gerwin Espejo, PRC trainer, stated that the knowledge of knowing the basic life support is very essential in times of emergencies, especially to students who go from home to school.

“Emergencies may happen anytime and anywhere. So students must always be aware of the proper things to do whenever they encounter any emergency or they need to rescue somebody who is in danger through the training on basic life support and first aid procedures,” Espejo said.
