Bengaluru: In a step to provide effective health care in the state, the Health and Family Welfare Department will add 400 new 108 ambulance services soon to the fleet of the existing 780.
Dr Srinivasagowda, Director, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services, informed Lokayukta Justice P Vishwanatha Shetty in response to a suo moto case registered by him for alleged demand of bribe from a patient by a driver of an ambulance in Haveri.
