Luzon: The Department of Health (DOH)-CALABARZON had recently turned over 14 land ambulances to the local government units of the provinces of Rizal, Laguna and Batangas.
“These ambulances are intended to transport seriously ill or injured persons needing immediate medical care and treatment and not to be used other than its intended purpose. Moreover, fees should not be collected for their use or be refused to be used due to political reasons or any other reasons that defeat the purpose as to why they were purchased” said DOH-CALABARZON Regional Director Eduardo Janairo.
