Muscat: Oman is well-equipped and prepared to treat medical emergencies of tourists, with the Khareef season round the corner, according to an official at the Ministry of Health.
\r\n“Each year, we aim to be and do better. This year, we have taken more precautions and made many more arrangements to help tourists. There has been a great improvement in the ambulance services throughout the Sultanate and more specialist doctors and surgeons are present in the emergency departments compared to previous years,” said Dr Mahmood Al Rahbi, Senior Consultant in the Ministry of Health. |
