Feeder Ambulances to Cater to Emergencies in Tribal Areas


Vijayawada: The inaccessible terrain makes it extremely difficult for doctors and paramedical staff to reach the tribal areas located deep in the forests in times of emergencies. In an effort to address the issue, the government is contemplating introducing feeder ambulances.

Soon, feeder ambulances (auto-rickshaw type) will carry the patients to the Primary Health Centre (PHC), or the regular ambulance, which in turn shifts them to the hospitals.
