Khyber: Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has strictly directed the high officers of the health department to ensure provision of free emergency services to patients in the public sector hospitals. He also directed to immediately start MRI, CT Scan and other machinery for the provision of services to patients on concessional rates as announced by the government.
He issued these directives while chairing a coordination meeting of the health department in Peshawar on July 1o Wednesday. Secretary Health Fakhre Alam, Special Secretary Akbar Khan, Director General Health Services Dr Zafar and all the district health officers and medical superintendents were present on the occasion. The minister also directed for immediate steps to control the supply of substandard medicines in the hospitals. |
