Gurugram: Now, private ambulances will provide services to the poor people and patients at the government hospitals. Moreover, the private vehicles will be allowed to charge the fee fixed by the health department which will be equivalent to the fee charged for the ambulance at the government hospital. The decision has been made after two children lost their lives while waiting for the ambulances at the General Hospital in Civil Lines. The services will only be available to the patients of the three General Hospitals in Civil Lines, Sector 10 and Sohna, and primary health centers. |
