A new compact ambulance will be used on Mount Takaosan to better respond to a growing number of medical emergencies reported on the popular mountain in western Tokyo. \r\nThe 4-wheel-drive vehicle can run on hiking trails and travel from the bottom to the top of the 599-meter peak in 30 minutes. It can transport up to five ambulance workers. |
