Bhopal: The ambitious public response system Dial-100 will be history in coming days as the police department has started working on a new Single Number Based Integrated Emergency Communication and Response System, Dial-112. \r\nNow emergency management, fire services, medical emergency and police services will be available under one number Dial-112. In March a meeting was conducted and to prepare for the programme many important points were discussed. The Centre has allocated Rs 14.56 crore for the development measures needed for the implementation of the new system. |
