Manila: The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) appealed to motorists to give way to fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency vehicles traversing along designated lanes for them along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA). \r\nThe special “fire lane” is on EDSA’s fourth lane from the right sidewalk, also designated motorcycle lane. Bong Nebrija, MMDA Supervising Operations Officer, said it is important for people to give way to emergency vehicles such as fire trucks to get through traffic. |
