Administrator Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi will support setting up of emergency response centres and installation of video surveillance cameras on Mehran Highway and other important roads.
Zaidi said that through this most part of the city could be linked with Central Command and Control System. He said this during a meeting with the delegation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) which under supervision of Tomishige called on Administrator Karachi in his office.
JICA delegation on this occasion reviewed security improvement project of Mehran Highway and gave their recommendations in this regard. They expressed desire that security surveillance cameras should be installed on appropriate distance on Mehran. Highway and an emergency response centre should be established where prompt help could be provided in case of any emergency or incident. |
