Kargil: The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Scheme is working wonders in the border district of Kargil in terms of providing upgraded medical facilities. The establishment of a new trauma centre now allows local residents access to better medical facilities and ensures that patients recovers faster as compared to earlier.
\r\n“Our trauma staff is always ready and alert. We don’t face problems in that. We have number of ambulances which can be availed from anywhere. We have provided our number to everywhere; we are even advertising our number on radio. So, it becomes easy for people to reach us,” said Dr Shabir Hussain Chief Medical Officer, Kargil. |
