Meerut: Gyan Prakash Sharma, fire station officer, said, “Obviously, it is a problem to have ready staff for ambulances in all the fire incidents but it is not that the ambulances have not been of help. Had it not been for them, there would have been more casualties.”Dayal Sharma said, “If staff is given to us for these ambulances, there is nothing better than that but with the limited staff we have, these ambulances have become more of a burden than an asset.” |
