Srinagar, June 17: Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad on June 17 Monday said that Delhi has included J&K as a special category State under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), by which the funding pattern has been eased to 90:10 from the previous 75:25.
Azad said this while addressing a gathering on the occasion of dedicating three High-tech Medical Mobile Units (Critical Ambulance) to people here on June 17.
These ambulances are fitted with latest equipments and machinery like X-Ray machine, ECG machine, Suction machine, De-freezer, Refrigerator, besides some other facilities. A doctor and a paramedic would also be attached with each ambulance. |
