Sri Lankas Free Ambulance Service is making Steady Progress


Colombo: Sri Lankas emergency ambulance service set up with the assistance from the Government of India is making steady progress and the number of admissions to regional hospitals is increasing, the government says.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Harsha De Silva said the Emergency Ambulance Service, 1990, is mostly receiving positive feedback from the general public although there are attempts by some, who want to stop the free emergency lifesaving program.
