Shripad Assures More Ambulances as per Need


Bicholim: Union Minister of State for AYUSH (independent charge) Shripad Naik has said that  the Centre has decided to adopt ayurvedic  system  for treating various diseases and that a provision of Rs   500 crore  has been made for the scheme. He was speaking as the chief guest at Bicholim Primary Health Centre (PHC) while handing over ambulance keys to the PHC management, on Friday (June 17).

The new ambulance for the PHC has been provided under MPLAD scheme, under which so far 11 ambulances have been provided to the PHCs and hospital in North Goa and more ambulances will be provided under the scheme depending upon the requirement, Naik said further.
