Seoul: The Ministry of Public Safety and Security’s Central Fire Service has designated 1,317 ambulances across Korea specifically for use during heat waves, according to a report released on Sunday (June 12). \r\nThese ‘heat wave ambulances’ will have nine different first aid kits, including ice vests, saline solution, intravenous injection set, and oral electrolyte solution. In order to prepare for emergency situations where none of the special ambulances are available, 1,105 pumper trucks across the nation will also be equipped with heat wave first aid kits. |
