Kochi: District collector M G Rajamanickam ordered operators of all ambulances plying in Ernakulam to be part of the \'Raksha\' project which launched in August last year. As per the project all ambulances should install GPS and be part of the project. \r\nThe project envisages reducing the time taken by ambulances to reach the accident spot in short time. If one calls on the 102 toll free number, he will receive mobile number of the ambulance driver stationed nearby. The ambulance can reach the accident in a few minutes. |
