Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir, which often leads in clinching top national awards and honours in health and medical care, doesn’t have a fully functional emergency ambulance system. This situation is now going to change with the government taking a final call on buying 25 critical care ambulances (CCAs). \r\nThe urgent need for CCAs arose as the state has only four of these – two in Kashmir and two in Jammu. These were not of much use to general patients as they were kept stand-in for ministerial emergencies. |
