A 2-day first aid training programme and safety awareness camp for Railways employees was launched at Mangaluru Central Railway Station on March 17th. \r\nAfter inaugurating the programme, Frank Amal, Senior Divisional Medical Officer and Divisional Commander (medical) of St. John’s Ambulance Brigade gave a presentation on the methods to be adopted while administering first aid. The programme, which was attended by 75 staff members, aimed at teaching them the basics in assisting passengers and providing first aid during accidents and emergencies such as cardiac problems, suffocation and electric shock. |
