Jharkhand Govt to Roll Out 24X7 Free Ambulance Service


Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur, March 10: The Government of Jharkhand is set to launch the Jharkhand Emergency Medical Ambulance Service (JEMAS), a comprehensive pre-hospital emergency medical service with the introduction of a fleet of ambulances to cover the entire state in a phased manner.

The emergency ambulance service will be launched in Ranchi and is likely to roll out by June 2016. With an aim of providing emergency ambulance service free of cost to the people of Jharkhand, JEMAS will ensure delivery of quality emergency care across the chain of services with proper emergency management system.
