Chndigarh: Finally, the Chandigarh health department is going to launch emergency medical response ambulance service 108 on Tuesday (January 26). The service is being provided in over 15 states and two Union Territories (UTs) for years but Chandigarh has now taken a call. \r\nThe city is already having around 10 ambulances under 102 facility. Now the health department will place six ambulances under 108 scheme at six different areas of the city. The ambulances under 102 service provide basic transport facility but 108 is an emergency response system, designed to attend patients of critical care, trauma, accident victims and others. |
