Boy Scouts Trained on Emergency Response


Kidapawan City: Members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines were trained recently on emergency medical response.  The 3-day 1st School Based Emergency Medical Response Dispatch Training was spearheaded by the Philippine Red Cross, Kidapawan City Emergency Response Unit  ( KIDCERU), Call 911 and BSP-Kidapawan City.

As part of the  public safety  program of the city government  and Mayor Joseph  Evangelista, the  training aimed to capacitate the  boy scouts in responding to disasters and emergencies in their  respective  schools such  as  conducting basic  search and rescue. They were also trained on survival skills.
