Kuala Lumpur: The Health Ministry wants to implement the Hospital Clusters concept involving public hospitals nationwide next year, said Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahya.Dr Hilmi said this concept of hospital resource sharing, among others, to reduce congestion in public hospitals is being focused at public hospitals first, before it is extended with the cooperation of the private hospitals. \r\n\"This concept will be implemented in stages and it is necessary to ensure if it is effective in public hospitals first before being extended to private hospitals,\" he said when replying to Senator Datuk Yoo Wei How at the Dewan Negara sitting here on December 10. |
