Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has asked police not to detain ambulance during the passage of VIP vehicles on the roads. Disapproving the practice of detaining ambulance during passage of VIP cavalcade, Patnaik said the life of patients were more precious than the VIP movement. Therefore, at no circumstances the ambulance would be detained on the road, he said. \r\nIn order to allow smooth movement of ambulance, the Chief Minister issued direction to authorities to construct special corridors for patient carriers. |
